Do I need my own instrument?
No — we hire instruments (wind, strings, percussion), or you can bring your own.

In person or online?
Both — in person in London, or online worldwide via Zoom.

I’m a complete beginner — is that OK?
Absolutely. Most of our students start from scratch.

Instrument Hire

Need an instrument to start learning, or for a workshop or event? We hire out our own collection of Korean traditional instruments at affordable weekly and monthly rates.

  • Wind — daegeum, sogeum, danso
  • Strings — sanjo gayageum (with stand), geomungo, ajaeng
  • Percussion — janggu, buk, jing, kkwaenggwari, sogo, jabara

Ideal for students starting out, schools, and one-off performances. A refundable deposit applies.
