About us
Korean Music UK is a London-based network of professional Korean musicians and dancers, founded in 2013 by Dr Hyelim Kim — daegeum soloist, composer, and researcher.
Since then, we have presented authentic Korean traditional music (gugak) across the UK and Europe through concerts, school workshops, academic seminars, and Pungryu gatherings. Our work brings together performers, students, and audiences in a shared exploration of Korea's rich performing arts heritage — rooted in tradition, open to the contemporary.
